Circles UK
As the demand for local Circles projects grew it became apparent that an independent umbrella organisation became necessary. Circles UK therefore came into being in 2008. Among their many tasks are included:
Publicising the work of Circles projects through lobbying and engagement with the media
Developing new projects
Carrying out a regime of inspections to ensure quality control, good governance and the safe running of projects
A centralised research and evaluation group responsible for the gathering and dissemination of data.
Overseeing the development and roll out of diversifying projects such as Circles for young people.
If you would like to know more about the work of Circles UK or the national picture as a whole, you can visit their website or contact them on Tel: 0118 950 0068
