BA Hons Social Sciences
Level 3 Probation Studies
Level 3 Counselling Skills
Level 3 Safeguarding

Alex has worked in the field of Criminal Justice for over 20 years, having begun his career in the Court service, he then moved into the Prison Service to deliver rehabilitation programmes, specifically for those who had sexually harmed.

Following this Alex moved to the Probation Service where he was employed in the Young Adult Team and Integrated Offender Management and finally into the Sex Offending Treatment Team.

Alex joined the team at Circles South-East in 2015 as the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Coordinator becoming an integral member of our senior management team in 2021.

“I have a strong belief in rehabilitation and investing in the strengths and characters of the service users we support to build better offence free lives.

I find the contribution and commitment of those that volunteer for our charity both humbling and greatly rewarding.

I also believe those individuals who step forward and ask for help to change deserve great credit for being prepared to openly talk to us about the issues they feel ashamed about, and for wanting to change for the better.”
