Circles South East Counselling and Support Services for Survivors

Circles South East has recruited and trained a cohort of counsellors who offer their services free of charge. We take referrals for:

  • Perpetrators of sexual abuse whose unresolved trauma is linked to their offending behaviour
  • Survivors of sexual abuse
  • Non-offending partners of sexual abusers
  • Young people engaged in harmful sexual behaviours.

Counsellors are fully qualified with at least 100 hours of clinically supervised hours of counselling completed. We provide counsellors with contributions towards supervision costs, insurance and BACP/UKCP (or equivalent) membership.

The service is currently available throughout our region.

Thrive Survivors Support Groups

Forums are “Circles”, or groups of volunteers helping those impacted by sexual abuse to recover from that experience. Volunteers require no formal qualification and are trained and supervised specifically for the role. The service is funded by the Lottery and is part of our developing number of services for survivors.
