Circles South East Counselling and Support Services for victims
Circles South East has recruited and trained a cohort of counsellors who offer their services free of charge. We take referrals for:
- Perpetrators of sexual abuse whose unresolved trauma is linked to their offending behaviour
- Survivors of sexual abuse
- Non-offending partners of sexual abusers
- Young people engaged in harmful sexual behaviours.
Counsellors are fully qualified with at least 100 hours of clinically supervised hours of counselling completed. We provide counsellors with contributions towards supervision costs, insurance and BACP/UKCP (or equivalent) membership.
The service is currently available in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire, though we intend to expand this.
Forums are essentially Circles for survivors of sexual or domestic abuse. Volunteers are trained for the role and then support survivors to rebuild their lives. This is a pilot service that will launch officially in April 2017.
If you would like to know more about either of these services, to make a referral or to volunteer, please contact us at:
